Terms of Service
Effective date: September 2026
These terms apply to the Midwest Removal website and to the junk removal and hauling services we provide. Midwest Removal is located at 1402 Jones St, Omaha, NE 68102. You can reach us at (402) 318-5241 or info@midwestremoval.com. By using this site, requesting a quote, or having us haul anything away, you agree to what follows.
What we do
We remove and haul away unwanted items from homes and businesses in Omaha and the surrounding metro, including Bellevue, Papillion, La Vista, Ralston, Gretna, Elkhorn, Blair and Bennington. We are not a dumpster rental company, a weekly trash service, or a licensed hazardous-waste or biohazard remediation contractor.
This website is informational. There is no online store, no account to create, no password, and nothing is sold or shipped through it. The forms on this site send us a request; they do not complete a purchase.
Booking, quotes and scheduling
Booking online or by phone requests a visit. It is not a confirmed appointment until we confirm it with you by phone or email, along with your arrival window.
We run Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm Central. Same-day service is often available when you book before noon, but it depends on the day’s schedule.
Quotes are free and given on site, before we load anything. There is no deposit and no obligation. If the price does not work for you, the crew leaves and you owe nothing.
Pricing and payment
We price by volume — the space your items take up in the truck — across thirteen steps from a single item up to a full load. The minimum charge is $75. Your price covers the crew, the truck, fuel, labor, and every disposal and recycling fee. There is no separate dump fee added afterward.
A few items are priced differently and are quoted before we start: carpet removal at $2 per square foot, labor-only jobs with no haul away at $95 per hour, and specialty items such as sheds, swing sets, hot tubs, pianos, and construction or concrete debris.
Two charges can be added on top of a load price: $15 per tire, and $249 for a load with a bed bug or lice risk. We will always tell you about these before we start, never after.
Payment is due when the job is finished. We accept cash, Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, and checks, and we provide an invoice.
Prices on this website are estimates for planning. The price the crew quotes you on site, for the items actually in front of them, is the price that applies.
Changing or cancelling a job
Call us at (402) 318-5241 as early as you can if you need to cancel or move your appointment. There is no cancellation fee.
If our crew arrives and cannot reach the items — no one is home, the property is locked, or access is blocked — we will call you before leaving. We do not charge a trip fee for a first missed visit.
What we cannot take
For the safety of our crew, your property and disposal-facility staff, we do not accept hazardous or regulated materials. That includes wet paint, solvents, paint thinners, motor oil and used oil filters, liquid waste, gas tanks and gas engines, propane tanks, gas cylinders, freon tanks, condensers, batteries, ballast, barrels, asbestos, explosives, medical waste, dead animals, and anything toxic, corrosive, ignitable or radioactive. The full list is on our Things We Don’t Pick Up page.
Our crew may decline any item on site. If something on this list turns up partway through a job, we will finish the rest of the work and adjust the price for what we can actually take.
Your property and your items
By having us haul something away, you confirm that you own it or are authorized to dispose of it.
Please check the load before we pull away. Once items are loaded and we leave, we cannot retrieve them — they go straight to donation, recycling or disposal. We are not responsible for the value of anything you asked us to remove, including items removed by mistake.
Ownership of everything we load transfers to Midwest Removal. We sort every load: usable furniture and appliances go to donation partners, metal and recyclables are pulled out, and only what is genuinely finished goes to a licensed disposal facility. You are not owed any resale, scrap or donation value.
Photos you send us
If you upload photos with your booking, we use them to prepare your quote and plan the job. They are stored privately and are not published or used in marketing without your permission.
Insurance and liability
Midwest Removal carries general liability insurance covering accidents or property damage caused by our crew during a job.
If something is damaged, tell the crew before they leave if you can, and contact us within three business days with photos so we can look into it. We will repair or replace property our crew damaged through our own negligence.
We are not responsible for pre-existing damage, for wear that comes from removing an item that was installed or built in, for damage caused by conditions we could not see, or for the value of items you asked us to haul away. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost income or missed appointments.
Calls, texts and email
When you give us your phone number, you agree that we may call, text or email you about your quote and your job. Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any text to opt out, or HELP for help. We do not sell your number, and we do not send marketing texts you did not ask for.
